First attempt with the PC

This weekend I had some time to really test out the PC. My hood and roof had pretty bad oxidation and many people told me the only way to correct it was to get the whole truck resprayed. Instead I put some XMT2 on a green Edge2k pad and let the PC work its magic. Can you tell which side I did??? I finished it with some XMT glaze and topped it with natty's blue. Ill try and get some whole truck pics tomorrow, but for a first attempt at a true detail Im pretty happy.

I just got it I guess yesterday I was outta town this weekend but Im gonna give the OC a try this weekend and see if I can get even more shine out of it and get the rest of the swirls out of the roof.

Basically I was driving home today and was shocked to actually see reflections on my hood rather than just an oxidized hazy crap pile. The only way I had been able to fix (hide) the oxidizing had been the red turtle wax because it just covered up the paint, I would use a ton of it to get a little result hahaha.

That is a good shock...I used to do the same thing with an older red Lincoln I had.

you definitely want to hit at it again...still looks like you paint has a lot more potential...slowly work you way down to less aggressive pads/polishes after you go at it one more time with an agressive polish/pad...

Yeah I was gonna try some XMT2 on the orange pad and than go back over with the glaze on maybe the blue finishing pad and than top it off with natty's again.

What polishes do you have?

I'm with orngez, still a lot more potential.
