1st time polishing paint. What do you think?

I bought the Mr2 in December and the paint had no gloss to it. I spent the weekend washing, claybarring, polishing with SSR 2.5, SSR1, then sealed it with Poor Boys EX. It was quite tiring, but I'm glad I did it and I'm sort of hooked on detailing now. My goal was to get the car glossy, and with the right products and your suggestions, I have to say it came out better than I imagined. There's so much gratification after all the work when you see the before and after results.

Enough chit chat. Time for pics

original state. notice the dull paint

SSR 2.5 polished on the right half of the roof vs unpolished left side:

SSR 2.5. Check the reflection of the M3

SSR 1. Better reflection of the M3

SSR EX. Really good reflection of the M3

Looks good! MR2 and Integra were my favorite cars at high school. Sweet.
Turbo or non-turbo?

Question though, what kind of car is that in the background, to the left BMW convertible?

Oh yea I totally agree with Gary on using Liquid Souveran on white, it makes the paint just POP!

It's a N/A MR2. You can tell by the engine lid (the turbo's have raised slots). I just got my 93 Hardtop in, and just waiting for my ATS 2.2L Stroker to come in. Nice to see another M3/MR2 owner here.
