Feb 07 BMW's to Detail

Well, the dealer bought in the latest from the BMW Lease auction. Due to the extreme cold, I showed the dealer how good ONR is and washed the Z4 and white 545i. He is definitely impressed. The Z4 was then compounded with Optimum on a rotary and polish pad (very light scratches so the big artillery wasn't needed). Finished with XMT Glaze and will put an lsp on tomorrow after I do the interior.

The white just got a quick ONR and it's pre-sold, so I'll start on this car tomorrow afternoon.

And, last, but not least...another black monster to do. I won't know how bad the finish is until I wash it and inspect it...but it doesn't look pretty from my initial walk around.

Stay tuned for some results.

Toto

Toto, you are one lucky guy to work on all those expensive toys. I just love that 5-series. It looks serious, and slightly furious. I love it!
And that monster - what a ride. Just gordeous!

The white car has a rare Sport Package and all black interior, including blacked out wood trim (looks like zebra wood...black and dark gray). I'll post some pics when I get to the interior...one SERIOUS car!

I gotta get some zzzzzzz's....full work day tomorrow

Really nice cars you’re going to detail Toto. I'll bee looking forward to your writeup's and to see how bad the cars really are.

You are definitely lucky to work on such beauties, even though you don't always get beauties to work with but you sure turn them in to beauties.

Gray?...it's way beyond that LOL! Actually 4 daughters contributed heavily towards my hair color. I think the cars are actually therapy anymore.

See Ya

Toto, do you work for a BMW dealership? Or is a dealership that just sells a lot of BMWs?

P1et: I work for a small dealer that sells pre-owned BMW's exclusively. He used to be a full service new BMW dealer and sold the business. Now, he sells approx. 100 cars per year and has a "super" reputation for acquiring late model cars. It's just him, his wife, and myself for detailing. Great part-time work environment and couldn't ask for nicer folks.

Here's some pics of the finished Z4 that we delivered today. I included a pic of the new owner too!

Outside Hood Reflection on the Z4.

Nice lighting indoor shot prior to delivery

One Very Nice Happy Owner....it's been her dream car and she wrote down washing instructions!
