Give it a try. It's more abrasive than the OC, even more with the new formula. I am pretty new to detailing and Optimum is the only polish I have, but I was happy with how the OHC performed (old formula). I don't have OC though, so I can't give any experience between them.

I'm glad to see you having good success with DP's compounds. They are an amazing deal now.......32oz. are even better!

Really nice write up, I enjoyed the pictures they do a great job at illustrating your process and progress. Gives a new person like my self something to look for or even better what to expect when detailing. Keep on sharing buddy.

I need to get my hands on a sample of the new OHC. Anyone out there with some?

Thank you all for the kind words. I just wish I could have gotten 100% of the "mess" on my trunk out.. There's only so much a PC can do.

I'd send you it if I had it, but I don't, as it wasn't for me.

Good luck with it though!!!
Blessings,

I agree with you but the look at it this way, better some then nothing and the PC is much safer then a rotary. I guess with practice the rotary can get just as easy but for a new person like my self I'm going to stick with the PC for a wile.

LOL!

I have a small learning curve, I can pretty much do anything I set my mind to. It usually doesn't take long for me to grasp any one thing. The stock market for instance.. it took me around 3 weeks to learn the whole thing, and the next thing you know, I'm almost making what rent would be, just by investing in the right places. My mind is too young, I need another challenge!
