eclipise detail

So i havent posted in a while since i havent been able to detail due to moving. So today i finnaly got some time to work on a car, i scheduled the guy who did my web site 9 (i would do his car if he did my site.. i thought it was a good trade).
So its a perlecent orange eclipse, its a cool little car.

Proccess:

Spray down with p21 total auto wash
P21s wheel cleaner (left on while washed car, all the grime came right off)
Filled the bucket with water and added qew
QEW'd the whole car
QEW wheels and wells
Dried
Clayed using poli-clay, it wasnt strong enough so i moved onto VW clay (its not aggresive but a little more then poly clay).
Wipe off clay lube
Zymol HD-Cleanse the whole car (reminded me to do a review)
cleaned windows
applied VW concoours wax (man i love this wax)via foam appicator pad.

Then idid the inside, it was a basic detail, nothing special so i didint get any pics.

Here is the car before hand. it was nice and dirty, gota love calgary streets

Heres the pre wash and wheel with cleaner

After the wash

me on the pre-wash, its in the wrong order but oh well

and in the next post the finals... i didnt bother taking pics of each step but i did get a few throughout.

Great job Calgary...complete turn around...The VW really has a very nice look to it...It has a very warm look to it..especially on that color..which I like..

The car came out perfect...I hope he did as good a job on your website as you did to his car...

Thanks Al, the web site, I thought, looked awsome. (heres my shameless plug). YOu can check it out at www.calgarydetailer.com (to use as a comparision of work)
I love the VW, its to bad autogeek dosent carry it (perhaps max may want to look into it )

And Nuke p21s gell wheel cleaner is AWSOME. I use it straigh (i know osme people cute) and it will get anything off. I normaly let it sit while im washing the car but sometimes when the dirt is really bad a quick scrub makes them look awsome.

Thanks for the comments guys

Looking good. the VW wax sure looks like it lives up to it's reputation. how did the HD cleanse work out for you with the VW. were you using the VW concours red ? would love to get my hands on some of their lite clanse and concours red to try it out. do they still sell sampler type kits. thanks for any info you can provide. their website is very vague right now. thanks for the review.the P21s wheel cleaner is great. nice to know it is also very safe.

The zymol cleanse worked well. I have used lite cleanse a few times, and was looking for somthing new. HD cleanse did everything it said it would, it left the paiint smooth and did a good job of cleaning. To tell you the trust it did exaclty the same things as lite cleanse but for a hiighe price.

As for the web site.. they are doing an update. I would call David personaly.. tjhe number is on the site.. he is a great guy. I know when i ordered mine i just ordered the wax and he sent me a few extras. he will be able to hook you up. Trust me its worth the cal.. VW concours red is my staple wax... to bad im almost out i think a 12 oz jar will soon be needed.

p.s i have used the other waxes by VW before, they are all awsome. they do a wicked job but i was drawn to concours.. its what works for me

Hey CalgaryDetail,

That car looks really good, the color looks really good. Wondering though how bad was the paint? Meaning any scratches swirls? If that is here in Calgary it has to have some scratches or swirls just because of where we live and how the roads are with rocks and all that. The paint looks really wet. You do good work my friend, well done.
