finally a break in weather!

I got a PC and the whole XMT line up along with a few others for x-mas and I fianally got a chance to use them today. We have had some nasty weather here in Wa the last few weeks, and have had no time to tend to the car.

I went to a self serve just so I could blast of all the nasty road grime. The hose at home lacks in the pressure deparment.

I washed with poorboys. thought thiswas a good shot of how dirty it was.

this is A before of the rear 1/4, the whole car is like this so I have my work cut out for me. today i just wanted to get use to the pc and the XMT, so all i did was the rear 1/4.

After's
I used XMT #3,#2,#1,xmt Glaze, Nattys blue.

here is a super Macro shot of the Pearl in the " Black Magic Pearl " that the car is.

A member on here had mentioned that the VW clear was very hard & boy is it. I used the oarange pad and worked the crap out of #3 on 5/5.5. would it be worthwhile to get a yellow pad or would that be to much??

Nice job, the pearl black looks good. The swirls on the before shots don't look bad enough for a yellow pad.

After re watching the XMT video's on the AutoGeek site, I could have gone Alot Slower and used more pressure, I went a little quicker then in the video and didn't use as much pressure as I could have. Im sure that will give me quicker results when I go at it again.
