My steps
-Washed w/ Meguiars Gold Series
-3M clay bar
-Meguiars #9 Swirl Remover (Used PC)
-Klasse AIO (Used PC)
-Klasse SG (applied 1 coat by hand, will probably add more this weekend)
Pics ain't the best I took them fast....

| | | Looking good man! Did you remove any swirling? It is hard to tell from the pictures. Also is his hood/mirrors/spoiler CF or just painted black? It is also hard to tell. Did you run into any problems while detailing this car? |

| | | Yes, there was swirls! Since he didn't know how to properly wash and take car of this beauty of a car. Ummm...CF? I know they were custom painted black and clear coated! The only problem was the hood as it had major swirls and it took two times and I learned how to use the proper pressure on it too. As I left some swirls myself...but got them out. I still am kicking myself by not taking before pics....I will next time. When I hopefully seal it again this weekend I will take some pics in the sun and some close ups!

| | | It looks nice. What's with the black hood on it? My younger bother has a red 350Z roadster. It's a nice car for the money. |

| | | CF = carbon fiber, very popular among tuners.
OT: A quick question about the 350z. You have been in it right? Well I absolutely LOVE the exhaust note of that and the g35, does it sound the same when you are INSIDE the car too? |

In the pictures that hood does not look like it's carbon fiber. I have a lot of carbon fiber parts on my lambo. I like the look of cf but to me if you just have a cf hood it looks funny.
Everytime I rode in my brother's 350Z he has the top down so it sounds the same to me.
Below is a picture of some Carbon Fiber in the interior of my Lambo. The patterns in the carbon fiber can be different but it always has a similar look.

| | | Very nice detail...yea I agree it's amazing what before and after shots will do. No worries maybe next time. You did a good job at it, is the bumper factory? I have seen some of those vehicles and the bumper looks different? Maybe it's just me, I'll have to pay close atention next time I see one pass by.
Gary Sword, why did you pick a Lambo? Why not Ferrari? |

| | | It looks like he has a body kit. Yeah, I know about painted Carbon Fiber, but a lot of tuners don't like the paint it. They like the look. Also, I don't know how the tuner world is where you live, but carbon fiber (real or fake) hoods are all the rage here. People will have BLUE car, CARBON FIBER hood, UNPAINTED body kit, LIME GREEN wheels on the front, WHITE different styled wheels on the back. I don't understand, but everyone likes their own thing.
About the 350z, I wonder if the convertible makes a big difference in hearing the exhaust note. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
