Menzerna Polishing Compounds of Germany has set new standards for workability, uniformity, performance, and quality. Why else would Mercedes Benz use Menzerna polishes to perfect the finishes on their brand new vehicles?

My First Detail With PC

This is my first Detail Post and first Detail with my New PC. Please be gentle.
Here we go! First I want to thank all of you who guided, er "carried" me through Saturday; Sat. Night and way into the early hrs. of Sunday morning.

Special Thanks to "Whitethunder46" .

This is my 2007 Honda Ridgeline; "Nimbus Metallic Grey"
We had rain for a couple of days and I had responded to a house fire the night before. Dirt, Waterspots, and Light Swirls with a special treat Smoke and Soot on paint.

Before

After

Products:
Pinnacle Body Shampoo
Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay
XMT #2
Edge 2K Pads
XMT CFG
Pinnacle Liquid Soveran Wax
ClearKote Quik Shine (x2)
Pinnacle Crystal Mist

What would happen if I topped this with a coat or 2 of Souveran Paste?
Would I add to or take away??

Oh, now that's a nice job! I like the after pictures, nice crisp reflections! Looks like you bought some top products.

What did you use on the tires?

Adding Soveran would "add" to the gloss/shine/slickness.

Also look at SSII. I really like it, and applied a coat to my Mom's car, ontop of NB. I also have it on my white car, and it looks very nice.

Did you experience much dusting with the XMT? I recently was using XMT3 and it was dusting quiet a bit. I had to switch to a clean pad and go with a different polish nor of the XMT line.

Those are great shots. Looks like your first PC experience was a great one.
