Getting a feel for the Griots (pics)

Getting a feel for the Griots (pics)

Today I started playing around with my griots and did the front clip of my car. While it is not perfect, i am pleased with the results!! I tried swirlX on a white pad but i was not happy with how that worked so i then proceeded to use Ultimate Compound on an orange pad, followed by ultimate polish on a gray pad. here are some befores (sorry for the poor quality all i have is my iphone to take pics)

here are the best 50/50s i could take....again, sorry about the quality

And after doing the front fenders, hood, and bumper I topped it off with PoorBoys black hole, and natty blue paste wax. here are the after pics i love it!!

I'd say you've got the hang of it. No need to apologize for the pictures. Your phone takes much better pictures than my first digital camera ever did......and I couldn't call anyone on it either.

Great work. Nice color to show off those crisp reflections.

Very nice Cheffrey. The clouds in the hood shots are fantastic on that dark blue.

    I think you've got it!!

I'll bet it wasn't as hard as you thought it was going to be. Everyone thinks that detailing properly will take years to accomplish then once they start the basics seem to fall in order nicely...as they did here!!

That's actually pretty darn good pictures for a cell phone.

Great job man I hope to be posting up pictures pretty soon also with the help of a Griot's 6 and Meguiar's MF/DA!
