Swirl/water spot removal with DP Super Swirl Eliminator + bonus XMT pics :D

Harrison (Neothin) and I decided to try polishing the hood of my dad's '66 Mustang convertible. It sits outside, and the beautiful Dodge Viper Red paint takes a real beating from sprinklers and whatnot. It's never been polished since the repaint and some kid "detailed" it (waxed with Gold Class) due to a construction incident, but I wasn't around to prevent that.

Anyways, we used DP Super Swirl Eliminator and a cutting pad w/the PC 7424 on speed 6. Finished with Optimum Polish and a polishing pad.

Later on, I went over the whole hood with XMT Carnauba Finishing Glaze. This product impresses me more and more every time I use it.

You can also see in the hood/fender pic how bad it was before we polished the hood.
