Some nice 50/50, and test spot shots!

Hey guys, had a REALLY beat up hood to work on today. Well, it wasn't just the hood...but the hood was fun to do cause it was so bad, ha. This was on a Nissan Maxima with about 150k miles. The hood was badly oxidized, and the paint was pretty unstable in spots. I don't have a paint gauge...but I could tell I was dealing with some REALLY thin clear here.

Regardless...the results were really surprising. I used all Malco products. Don't know if you guys are familiar with Malco...but, they are my main distributor. I love their stuff. Check it out!

Test spot came out really well.

Did one half of the hood to get a good 50/50

I was more than happy with the results. There was still some defects in the paint...but, this hood really was unstable. Parts of the hood towards the middle had no clear left practically. But, customer was psyched!

Yeah, I use the appeal on every interior. I love that stuff. It's great for things like the side steps on a truck...doesn't leave them slippery at all. Up here, Malco is definitely all over the place. I love it cause my guy just comes through with a truck load of stuff and I take what I want. I LOVE their Glaze II! I use that stuff daily. It's the best one-step polish wax there is...no question. The best thing about that stuff...is that you can just lay it down on the entire vehicle, let it dry, and machine buff it off at like 2000rpm and bang a vehicle out in 10 minutes! Doesn't leave swirls or anything either. Awesome stuff.
