Smart Car Clean Up

Tonight I started on a SmartCar. This is a car my dad took in off of trade and will be selling. He doesn’t want any paint correction done but wants everything looking nice. I have the exterior done and will do the interior tomorrow.
I just got a new DSLR camera so I wanted to play around with it hence the writeup on a car that didnt have paint correction.
Process:
-Remove wheels/ clean with Opt Power Clean (too narrow to get a brush in there so I figured I could just remove them almost as fast as trying to get a brush in there)
-ONR wash (I used a small pressure sprayer and sprayed the car down prior)
-Clay w/ONR lube
-Sealant w/ Menz Power Lock
-Dress trim w/ UTTG
-This stuff is great!! I traded a sample with Mark and have to say I am absolutely sold on this stuff. See pics below
Now onto the Pics
Before:

Wheel Cleaning:

Post ONR wash:

Clay:

Power Lock setting up

Now onto the trim w/ UTTG sorry only afters except for a few 50/50s

Now the final product (Exterior)

Thanks for looking. All question, comments, and criticisms are welcome.
Jon

Thank you, for the tires I used wolfgang back diamond and for the windows I havent done them yet. That is just from the onr wash. I will do them after I finish the interior but I use Megs glass cleaner concentrate.

Re: Smart Car Clean Up

I've secretly wanted to drive and detail one of these Smart golf carts. I would like to have a picture of me trying to get in and out of a smart car.

Your work looks great. Have you tried using 303 Aerospace protectant on the plastic?

Just out of curiosity, what size are those rims?

Re: Smart Car Clean Up

The results look amazing with just the hands and no rotary. I like the way you clayed the vinyl, learned something new in that shot. Amazing!

Re: Smart Car Clean Up

Jon,

It great to see you took your time and covered very inch of the cars. I like the way you removed the wheels and tires and did a proper job there as well.

Superb work and I'm sure your father was pleased!
