We're looking for some incredible photos that showcase your best work. It could earn you an Autogeek care package valued at $250! We will be picking three winners, top winner will take home the $250 value Autogeek package and second place will receive package valued at $150 and third will receive a package valued at $100. We will be giving away some special promotional items with these packages that can not be bought!

Show us your detailing skills!

The Autogeek staff will vote on the photo that shows the most impressive results. We will be looking for attention to detail, descriptive information in the posts, quality of the photos, and the amount of detail you put into your explanation of your detailing process. We love to see interior, exteriors, engine cleanings, and before and afters. We welcome small video clips along with the photos if you like to do a little video work too.

If you are entering into this you cannot post a show and shine that you have already put up on the forum. We are looking for you to have some photos that include the products but it is not necessary to enter, we do want to see some action in your detailing shots! A few lucky members will have their pictures displayed on the Autogeek.net website after the contest is over!

Submit your pictures by posting them on this thread. Our team of Dwayne, Matt, Mike Phillips, Jason and myself will vote on the winners! We will announce a winner at the end of this month. Good luck and happy detailing!

I'm no detailing professional or even expert and I know there are much better, but I'd LOVE a goodie bag.

This is my most recent exterior detail
Wheels and wheel wells
ARO
Zep Citrus degreaser
Griot's Wheel cleaner
Toilet brush
(dedicated to car - not the toilet - thanks to whoever suggested it to me)
Various other brushes including the Daytona, boars hair, and stiff bristle scrub brush

Exterior
Two bucket method - Megs Wash and Wax
AG Foam Gun - DP Xtreme foam
Chenille Microfiber
Griot wash mop stick kit
Dried with blower

Wax
Optimum Spray Wax (has previously been sealed DP sealant)

Before - notice the road grime from 1 week of daily rain



The grime you see on the back end is all over the car even though it doesn't show up well.



During wash
Notice the two buckets (1 AG both with rollers from AG) the GG mop and the AG foam gun.
I only foam up one side of the car at a time due to the extreme heat drying it on the paint.


Still shows some great beading from DP sealant and SSII a month ago.

This is super cool! I can't wait to see the entries. I'm not sure if I'm going to have the time to get in and do this right but hopefully I can make some time next weekend. Theres still a window but it's closing! You see this contest Tad? This has your name written on it.
