My first detail: 2006 GTO (56k death)

So I finished my first complicated detail of my car a few days ago. Before I had just been washing it and then applying coats of Zaino when necessary to boost the shine. But I had a ton of swirl marks and I needed to get them off. I imagine the swirls came from inferior washing products, which has been fixed.

Process: Wash with Meg's NXT, Zaino clay, PC w/ XMT intermed. then ultra fine, then two coats of Zaino Z-2, then P21S paste wax. This is by far the best looking my car has ever been. I got about 80% of the swirls off, but might need to have someone rotary the real bad ones off. So here are my pics, sorry if there's too many, but I'm really pleased.

Before: not the best, but you can see what's going on.

Looks real nice. I have always liked the GTO. How deep are the swirls you could not remove? You may be able to remove them with extra passes of XMT#3.

Thanks for the kind words. Most of the remaining swirls would probably come out with an additional pass from XMT 3, but I didn't have the patience to do it this time. There are some that look like paint defects where it looks like an impression in the clear coat, very different from the other swirls.

BTW my car is known for crappy paint quality.
