Mirror Detailing Fox & FD Detailing Adventure

Started at 6:30am when I left out on the 98 mile trip down to a friends house. Beat traffic got down there at a quater to 9. Started on it shortly after, and finished around 5! This mustang is one of the BEST foxes I have ever seen. Interior, Under the hood, exterior was PERFECT! Gets driven around 4-5k miles a year! I wish I could buy it from him!

But thats not where it ends! Shortly after I finished I had another car to do! So I made the SHITTY 83 mile trip over to the shop in Duluth, to start on a car there. I got luckly and hit rush hour traffic just inside the connector, and manage to get there just after 7pm! Got started on a REAL SHITTY RX-7 FD.
Which I manage to finish about 45 minutes ago. At 4am this morning!

This whole car looked like this...

After first buff...scratches gone...compound trails now!

Now good solid reflection, but notice the over head ceiling light? Now notice all the Solvent Pop ALL over the paint? I said this thing was shitty!

Now a few random afters...

And so ends this un funly wonder shitty day! I am going to sleep!

Sounds like it has been a bad day and a long one!

Well I'm sure it'll feel good to finally hit the hay.

That Mustang was in nice condition. I'm not a big fan of that body style (or Mustang's in general) but I still have to say that one was quite nice!

Solvent pop FTL, i hate when cars like these get amateur paint jobs

Good job getting it back to glory, though! I just hope the painter doesn't get credit for it looking this good.

Now the Fox, OMG! If you don't buy it, let me know j/k, can't get any more cars, i promised! The car looks great (sans wheels)! I love the color. Any engine/interior pics?

Man that mustang is shinning!! Nice work on both cars.
Between the driving and the detailing you must have slept for two days...l.o.l..

This one is crazy. Everything has been redone on it. And only gets driven a few thousand miles a year!

He only wants $15k which is a market steal right now for how much is into it! The Rx7 though...was funny. The hood was horrible prep work on the thin fiberglass, the roof/doors where a single stage with a very thin layer on clear on them. Then every other panel was great paint jobs, just crap paint.
