04 Mustang Convertible Fresh From the Dealer

I finished this Mustang which my customer got this afternoon. Only 12/k on the car, but the dealer sure did their best to install as many swirls as they could.

I didn't wash it because the dealer did that. No need for clay as the surface was in pretty good condition and the customer didn't have a lot of time.

The swirls were pretty light, so I used XMT #1 and DACP for the more severe stuff.

LSP was good ol' Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant...my favorite for easy apply and remove. Plus, it will give good protection to the finish.

Couple of Before Pics:

Pretty standard swirl job:

Some after shots before it got too dark outside:

One more with the car's owner helping wipe the Wolfgang off the wheels.

For those that haven't tried Wolfgang...you're missing out on a super product. And, the XMT Polish lineup is suberb!

Nice Job,maybe the dealers can improve on the details some day,but i haven't seen one yet you think it would leave plenty of work for us..

Joe dealers are what is keeping all of the detailers employed, if dealers stopped detailing cars, or started doing it right, well then we would have no need for XMT!

Wow!! What a beautiful car! I've always loved mustangs. It's mind boggling the number of swirls that were in that car, but you really made it beautiful.
