My wife's Explorer had bad waterspots on the hood. I got rid of them by using the following:
1) Wash / Clay
2) Poorboys SSR 2.5 w/ orange pad
3) Poorboys SSR 1 w/ white pad
4) Poorboys EX-P w/ gray pad
