Re: Black BMW From Horrible to Honorable

Awesome work!

That lift looks sweet! It looks like it's a little top heavy though with such a narrow base...is it safer than it looks? I'd love to have something like that in my shop. I always save the lowers for last just because it's such a strain on my back.

Thanks,
Rasky

Yea im interested in that lift too, i could really use that for installing my cat back and downpipe in the future. With that lift, i could really get some serious clean going on the bottom of a car @!! GREAT work

Primo job, as usual.

Lessee, double compound, 106, glaze, Ultrafina then #26..... 6 steps! How long did that job take??? Hope you get paid by the hour!

Love your work and writeups.... TL

The lift looks like one from Garage Equipment Supply, GESUSA.com . The price is $1845.

Toto, Awesome Job first of all. Like TL above I am wondering about all the polishing steps. You mentioned that this car had very hard clear. The double compounding I totally understand. Following up with 106 I understand, Can you explain the reason for the glaze and then Ultrafina? Isn't ultrafina very similiar to 106? Did you get any noticeable return from those extra steps. Thanks
Paul
