I noticed you said you rinsed the car off with the #26 still on that car, may I ask why you did this, and how well did the wax came off vs. removing it dry? I've just never heard of someone doing that before.

Rasky: apparently, that method of wax removal has been around for many years and used by some dealers. The dealer decided to bring it back and I have to say, it is superb.
The final power wash (with wax applied prior) removes any wax and/or polish in body seams and general polish dust. After washing, I pull the car in the shop and use fresh microfiber towels to dry and remove the wax. Think of the process as spraying some quick detailer on a towel prior to wax removal. The water acts as a lube so you don't introduce any light scratching from the towel.
