here are some nasty scratches around where the original dealer sticker was.
and a huge gash
i first used a solvent to strip all the wax and product from the paint, then i touched up the huge scratch with some touch up paint from autozone. after i let the paint dry over night i wet sanded the touchup paint so it was even with the original paint.
then i used my g110 with an orabge cobra cross groove pad
and meguiars #2
and took care of these scratches
then i whent over it with meguiars #7 showcar polish
and here is the outcome of the scratch
and where the dealer name was
i think i did better than i expected, thought that i was gonna sand all the way to a primer for some reason. tell me what you guys think
Great job. I want to get into wet sanding some but im afraid i wont be able to remove all the sanding scratches with my PC. Did you have any trouble with your dual action?
