Z06 Souveran Paste

It's been a while since I posted any pictures on AG so I thought I should post a few. I put a fresh coat of Souveran Paste on the Z06 yesterday then I took it out last night and got it all dirty driving it in the rain. After washing it this morning using some Poorboy's SS&S /ShMitt and dried it with a leaf blower/micro fiber I snapped a few pics.

The car is a 2008. It's hard to believe but I've had the car for almost a year now. I have not done any paint correction on it since I first purchased it. At that time it had the infamous dealer induced new car swirls

Car looks stunning. Quick question on tires, have you tested different brand tires on your cars and prefer any one tire over others?

wytstang, currently I have the following tires on my cars:
Vettes - Goodyear
Gallardo - Pirelli
Viper - Michelin
Mercedes - Continental
F150 - BF Goodrich
Caravan - Bridgestone

Of all the different brands I have used I like Michelin the best. In terms of performance on or off the track and ware I think they are the best.

I'll keep an eye out on the Michelin's. I's assuming your baby's don't see rain much but does that include wet roads in your observations?

Looking good Gary. Now you have to pull your tires to get the dirt off from behind your awesome wheels.

Take a look at Tirerack.com for some good feedback on tires. I had an 01 vette with run-flat GYears and at the suggestion of many on tirerack, I tried a different GYear and was extremely pleased. Followed their lead again with my last Tahoe and again was very pleased.

Thats what I'm doing all so, I just wish discounttire.com was back up. They have been down to 3 days doing maintenance. They are a tad bit cheaper and offer free shipping. Any who thanks for the feed back.

wytstang, Most manufacturers make different tire for different driving conditions. I have really not had any rain issues with any tires in recent years. Even in the down pours you get in the Florida Rainey season (I'm sure you remember what those are like). If you are worried about hydroplaning they do make rain tires. I usually decide on the tire I want to get then check prices online and locally. The tires on some of my cars get to be quite expensive.
