most dealerships turn out work like that. it cause they never properly train their employees how to use a buffer. plus they just want the car in and out as fast as possible. dealerships are no different than body shops when it comes to detailing cars. i have worked at both and argued with the owners about this problem but they honesly dont care

You are correct, I have done it also. I would always try to take my time, ask questions about products before using them and they would look at me like i am dumb and say just put it on! The whole reason I went on my own, and also the reason I probably detail more cars by myself than most of the detail shops in my area!
