Black 2003 EVO 8

I cleaned up my buddies EVO yesterday.

Process was:

Wash
Meguier's clay bar
Meguier's Medallion paint cleaner
Meguier's Medallion wax/polish

I spent a good time getting wax out of the cracks and body lines of the car from the last person that cleaned his car for him. It looked like they applied it with a paint brush. It literally looked like dried drywall mud.

This was my first time using my new Porter Cable. I bought some Meguier pads for both of the Medallion products I was using. One is a maroon pad and the other was a tan buffing pad.

All in all, I was happy with the way the car turned out and most importantly he was too.

I know I didn't do a long and drawn out write up of the process, but damn, I guess I suck.

Re: Black 2003 EVO 8

Thanks everyone. I should be doing my buddies black F-150 Lariat sometime this week. It has a 8" lift, 22" wheels, and 37" tires on it. Its gonna be a job, but at least I won't have to do alot of bending over while cleaning it.

This car was the first time I had ever used my PC so I was almost as surprised as the owner when I was done and pulled it out of my garage.
