98 Prelude

1998 Honda Prelude - never been polished
- Daily Driver so he wasn't looking for perfection, just something that he could be proud of

Wash with "Blue Coral Wash'n Wax" 1 Bucket System
Paint wasn't going to get hurt any more than it already was
Clay with Purple Heavy Cut Clay
Spot buff with Meg's #85 on an Edge green via Rotary
XMT 2 on a LC Orange via PC
XMT 2 on a LC White via PC
XMT Finishing Glaze by hand
Natty's Blue

Pictures do not show how bad it really was before it started and then how good it came out.

Before:

Entire Car was covered with white overspray, which can be seen as the white dots in the photo of the hood below.

In Process:

That is the owner working the PC, it is his first time using a PC and doing any polishing of any kind.

When we stopped for a bite to eat.

Afters:

The owner didn't know that there was blue pearl in the paint.

WOW, that looks great for the amount of time and initial condition. Very nicely done

Re: 98 Prelude

Real sharp looking Prelude, it looks like it was taken care of as far as dings and major scratches. Your detail job brought the bling out of the paint. Nice work.
