nice save on the car... I had done a corvette a couple of weeks ago where everything I did didn't seem to work. I ended up using Meg's 105, alot of it cause it breaks down so fast. then followed by 106ff and a white pad.
but after the corvette, i realized i need to learn a rotary!!! I am buying a makita mid-month and will begin to master it. The flex is great mind you, but the rotary is the king! so that is my suggestion
I'm testing out a rotary tomorrow with the assistance of another detailer to see how I like it. I'll let you know what I think.
Thanks Guys! by the way I finally tried a Rotary and it was pretty easy to handle but not that much faster at correcting than my flex. Mind you I only spent about 2 hours using it but not majorly faster like I was expecting, then again I have not had nearly enough experience with one yet. The Flex also really works well with a wool pad FYI

Dig in with the rotary its not as hard as people think, I started on a rotary, no need for a pc
