Wink Ford f-150 Restoration project

Working on my ford f-150 I purchased lately, wetsanding the top with 1500 grit and 2000grit sandpaper following up with xmt 3 w/orange pad w/rotory then p106ff w/white pad w/rotary on # 3 you can see the diffenence, but would like better results though, still not coming out real shiny. The clear coat has alot of eching in it, took a couple pictures of it. The process I'm doing now will not take it out, I don't want to wetsand through the clear, this is a ( 99 ) f-150, last several months not taken care of, sits outside 24/7 under a tree for the last couple months. Need some in put on this, I will do the whole truck with wetsanding, side panels just for orange peel that can be seen and minor scratches. My trim needs some attention also, the bottom front is grey in color and the black is faded so what product to use on this. I have black again now, what can you recommend?

Re: Ford f-150 Restoration project

Nice work so for and can't wait to see the final results. As for your trim I would get some black wow because it works wonders on my ford trim.
