Black Corvette

I did this Vette in 14 hours (two days span)
It was to be detailed for a car show last Saturday

The owner of this car is a pretty fun guy. He's driven this car to Michigan and back to Colorado, and has made few trips to Bowling Greens Ky.

He had two requests for me prior to doing his vette. One, "do not use a buffer"
When I asked him why not the buffer, he sais he didn't want swirls on his car. Well, I was already familiar with his car, and I knew it had a bunch of swilrs, and marring all over the finish. I decided to give it a try in explaining to him what a buffer does. I knew he had bad experiences with people using a rotary and wool pads. I told him my PC Orbital buffer will not induce any swirls, but rather, eliminate them. That said, he trusted me, and at the end, he was very happy how his car turned out

Two, he loves a product called Race Glaze, which I went out and got some just for him

Process:
I started by washing his car with Race Glace LAS wash, clay bar
I used 1Z Einszett Intensiv Paste and LC low-profile orange pad PC-6
Followed with Race Glaze and Meguiars polishing pads PC-5 worked it in to clean and polish the paint. Race Glaze Polish is a kind of AIO product, and really left the paint nice looking, and free of any possible haze

The wheels were cleaned with Maverick's Wheel Waxx with a mix of Rejex
Tires cleaned with LA's Awesome Cleaner, and dressed with Poorboys NL
Exhaust tips were cleaned with LA's Awesome Cleaner, followed with DG metal cleaner, and dressed with Rejex
Same thing with the brake calipers
The engine bay was wiped down with LA's Awesome Cleaner, and topped with Prima Amigo Glaze
Exterior plastic cleaned with Mothers Back to Black
Interior Meguiars interior detail, and 1Z Cockpit Premium

The pics:

Here are some of the before shots...

Some after shots...
