I would contact Porter Cable, sure something can be done. How old is the unit ?? If more than a couple years, maybe someone is telling you to get a Flex.

I had the same thing happen to me. The repair was cover and fixed at the porter cable store. It was second detail.

If the funds would allow it I would love to get a flex. I picked up the PC a few weeks ago from a forum member, it was new (I was told). Looks like it was never used, everything still in the wrapper and sealed. I wanted to use the PC this year and then step up to a rotary for next year.

Here are the pics of the car in the sun. Last night I used some Prima Hydro on the car.

No offense taking. I mean sh*t happens right? Some people have cars for years with no problems but at the dealer we have replaced engines on cars that have not even been sold yet. Maybe my PC was put together on a friday afternoon lol.

Re: First detail and boroken PC....

I have read so much and been referred more than anything to Primo over recent years by a friend of mine - but never saw them mentioned here on AG until now.

What is everyone's opinion of them? They seem to have a cult following, what's the skinny on them?
