Talking Definition of Clean: '05 GTO 6.0L

'05 GTO 6.0L 6spd
Car washed using Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash (1:3)
Before:

The car wasn't in entirely too bad of a shape. Just some swirls, water spots and what looked like an assortment of cat scratches.

Started with a LC Orange Pad and Menzerna Super Intensive Polish. This was my first time ever using the Menzerna Polishes and I absolutely love them! Very easy to work with, cut down through the swirls like butter even on this hard Pontiac paint and leaves the paint looking vibrant!

The car was beginning to look A LOT better. There wasn't much micro-marring from the more aggressive polish/pad but just to bring back the clarity and depth in the paint I went with a white pad and some Menzerna Nano Polish. The Nano polish is SO easy to work with. Breaks down very well and just infuses the paint with depth, luster and shine.

Put on a gray finishing pad with some JetSeal109 and went over the entire c[ar. Product went on very easily. While I let it sit (about 30 minutes) I began to dress the trim with Meguiar's #40. Another great product. Leaves the trim looking clean and original and if you got any on the windows it wiped off very easily. After doing that I wiped off the first layer of JetSeal109 and let the car sit for another 15 minutes. During that time I went over all the windows with Stoner's Invisible Glass and then a layer of Klasse All-in-One. Applied another layer of JetSeal109 with the Porter Cable and began re-dressing the tires/wheel-wells with PoorBoy's Natural Look. Great stuff!

The car began to take on a whole new personality. Just sitting down and looking at the car I would find myself trying to lean up against objects that were being reflected off the car. It had an amazing shine. Just walking around it would bring you hues of black, purple, navy blue, electric blue and shots of metal flake that would pop up and smack you in the face.
After I removed the last layer of JetSeal109 and let the car sit for another 15 minutes I prepared another gray finishing pad this time with XMT Carnuba Glaze. I realize the glaze SHOULD HAVE been applied before the sealant but because this had Carnuba in it I wanted to make sure the Sealant had something to cling too.

After that went on a layer of P21S Carnuba Wax. After a quick dusting and buff the car looked SPECTACULAR!

This has honestly been one of my favorite cars to detail. The car turned out awesome. The owner liked the results even though he didn't have a chance to experience the car in the sun yet.. he'll be surprised once he does.

Sorry for the blurry pictures. I was excited.
Gene

Man you got that flake poppin'! Very nice detail. Did you do the interior too?
Don't mean to offend you but I find your logo on the pictures distracting. It's hard to read and I found myself looking at the logo more than the pic itself.

Ahh lovely Impulse Blue Metallic. Glad the owner had it taken care of. Excellent work.
