Re: getting swirl marks out of a new black car

I have a simple craftsman 7' orbital buffer with a separate pad for application, wax removal, and then polishing. Now i usually just wax do you think if i polished the car then waxed it would get a majority of the marks out. I dont understand black cars, almost every black car i see has those marks!!!!!!!!

you should polish for sure!! depending on how deep the swirls are depends on how aggresive the polish and pad you will use. check out the pinnicle video on this site it will further help you in creating a show room shine!!

Re: getting swirl marks out of a new black car

It sounds as if you do not have the proper tools to remove the deffects. I would suggest taking it to a pro so that you will be completely happy. They can then tell you how to maintain it to keep it that way. Where are you located?

Re: getting swirl marks out of a new black car

Order a PC 7424 and the Pinnacle Wax kit. I have a black 07 G35 and I use the Advanced finishing polish and the Liquid Sourvern. My first time using the Pinnacle with the buffer and it turned out great.
