Forum member Fasn8n Zo6

This is a forum member Fasn8n slammed C5 Z06 corvette.

Bart stopped by last week, while I was on a job site to take a look at his vette.
It was in very good shape. It had the normal swirl/spiderwebbing, and what I thought to have a slight haze to it. So it needed just a little touch up. So I took out the sand paper, just kidding.
Well the deck lid had a nasty bird bomb etching on it. And I did sand it just a little with 1500 grit. It is still there, though not as noticeably.

Gave it a quick DP 4-in-1 wash. Dried with cobra guzzler. Taped off back window trim, and door trim. And also around the rear brake inlets.

I went through two low profile org pads with the pc. I spread the product at speed 3, then worked it in at speed 6.
I went with 3m extra cut/op on the pad at the same time. Then went back over with a white polishing pad with op.
I talked with Bart, and he needed durability and wanted some deep depth for the paint.
So I went with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. Removed with a cobra deluxe jr. I think he will be getting a bottle from AG now.

Re: Forum member Fasn8n Zo6

Ed,
Thanks again for the great job! The car looks like a mirror and is super slick

Gary,

The watering ban is not helping any of the landscaping in GA that is for sure. I am looking forward to havinging the ban lifted ASAP!

Killerwheels,

The car is low, but everyday driving, potholes, etc are not a problem. You just have to know how to drive a lowered car

Looks nice, I would take caution sanding paint that hard when you need your pc to remove the scratches.
