| | | 2007 C6 Triple Black Corvette I was contacted for the vette, since we have water restrictions here in N. GA It is two weeks old, and he wanted to get some protection on it. So the finish wouldn't take to much of a beating. He is a long time zaino user, and that is what was used on his ride.
As you can see the dealer did one hell of a detail job on it for him. That was a easy fix, now it looks like it should look.
Before I did anything to the corvette, I wanted to fix the dealer mess. So I took a few pics, then a tape line. So you can see the half and half shot.
** For this I went with the PC and a org pad. With my Optimum Polish/3M Extra Cut mix**
You can see how well this worked, that is why I love my OP. The Wash
DP 4-in-1 with two gallons of water, and a spray bottle mix. I use the spray mix to wet the paint even before I start to wipe the panel.
I also used the same mix for the tires and rims. With the 16' deep reach brush, and a reg wheel brush. The Gameplan
I went with Zaino-AIO and a new org pad with the PC. Section by section till the whole thing was done. About 26-28 total sections. After then Zaino Z-5pro was applied to the finish.
Interior
Doors/dash/console done with DP Interior Surface Protectant. Seats were conditioned with Zaino Z-10.
The before from dealer
Midpoint WITH FULL SUN
Afters

| | | Re: 2007 C6 Triple Black Corvette Looks great Ed! The dealer did a nice job swirling it up. I had to polish my black Z06 when I got it home from the dealer but it wasn't as bad as this one. |

I mix the OP with the 3M to keep from hazing, it works very well for me. A pea size of both on the pad and you are ready to | Quote:
