2004 Zo6 Corvette

I gave this corvette a detail about a year ago with DP Super Swirl Eliminator. And only a few K miles were put on since then. So the finish wasn't that bad.

Interior

Doors/console/dash with DP Interior Surface Protectant. Leatherique was used on the seats.

Wash/tires rims

Optimum car soap, and the Shmitt.
16' deep reach brush, and a reg wheel brush.

The Gameplan

Optimum polish, a new low profile org pad. The PC set at speed 6. Taped off trim, took all of a few min. for that. Had to sand a few spots, with 1500 grit sand paper. And for the final, went with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. Surf City Beyond Black on tires.
Pics were taken about 4:30, and it was overcast most of the day.

Beautiful work, I like the look of highly polished silver paint. One thing you can't help but notice on the Vette as well as just about all cars with body colored bumpers is how they never match colors perfectly. Doesn't mater if its a Lexus or whatever. I guess that flex agent they put in the paint throws the color off a bit. Sorry to get off track, again nice work.

Nice job on the scratch Ed. I love detailing on an overcast day as long as it not to cold.

Yes the pc did it, it took a few passes to do it. I didn't feel like using the DeWalt

Overcast days can be nice at times.
It started out cloudy, then it warmed up and it started to shine.
The sun came out early, about 1-2 o'clock. Then it would pop out every so often.
