Driven Auto Detail: 2005 Jeep Cherokee 5.7 Limited - White

This customer was referred to me from a local body shop. Customer is in the National Guard and was getting sent to Iraq so he wanted to get it cleaned up, ready to sell. The exterior of the vehicle wasn't in too bad of shape. It appeared that it was run through the local car wash recently as the hard to reach areas of the exterior were pretty dirty. The front bumper cover was pretty beat up and there were some scratches on the passenger rear quarter panel. The interior was awful. They have at least one kid and so there was a lot of debris spread throughout. There were a lot of stains as well.

Service: Mini-Detail (see my website for more info)
Vehicle: 2005 Jeep Cherokee 5.7 Limited

Wash with Optimum Car Wash
Tires received Optimum Tire Shine
Paint received Optimum Poli-Seal via UDM and Meguiar's yellow polishing pad
PS buffed off with Optimum Car Wax
Exterior glass cleaned with Duragloss Rain Repel

Interior vacuumed
Carpet mats cleaned with water/woolite
Interior plastics and leather cleaned with water/woolite
Interior glass cleaned with Surf City Glass Cleaner

Unfortunately, the sun was no where to be found so the pics are a little dark.

Mike, that is one heck of a turnaround. What is wrong with people??? That thing was a complete and utter mess. You did a great job on the interior, it looks like new again! This detail reminds me of the people that let their houses go and then clean it up when they want to sell it. Then it looks good and they think they may want to keep it afterall.

Good things are right in front of us.
Sometimes we just have to look a little harder to see it.

AL417 - I hear ya. I actually had to drive it from the customers house to my winter time shop and back. Needless to say, the drive back was much more enjoyable..hehe!

_M_ - Thanks! I use a ratio of 6 parts water to 1 part Woolite.

Yuk! That car was a mess. You made it look outstanding. I couldn't tell from the pic but does Optimum Tire Shine have a little gloss to it? I think that's the one I want but would like a little gloss.

with what she said! How in the heck can someone get into that nasty car and drive it anywhere? I bet their house is just as foul!
Nice turnaround!
