As I indicated, power washing (especially in winter months) is a time consuming chore. I typically power wash 3 times using 3M products. And that involves un-racking the car, moving other cars out of the way, washing, re-racking the car, and moving the cars back in place.....lot's of time lost in shuffling.
Plus, I now have a single source product for compounding and polishing...money saver in the long run.
But, I'm still an AutoGeeker at heart...always trying stuff to get a super result. That will never cease and I get to drive the BMW dealer crazy | Thanks for the info!!

Better yet, I'll probably be at Detail Fest, so you supply the Diet Cokes and I'll bring my rotary (now that's a cheap date!)

| | | Re: Black Viper Swirled to Toto Treated Did a short search on the System 1 product line. I 'd heard about it a couple years ago. It was pricey then . It appears that they have dropped their price a bit. It is probably a good product, and I'm sure we all are using products just as good or better. But knowing how we detailers are some of us will have to order it for proof. Myself included. |

I've never heard of these SYSTEM ONE products. Have you tried Menz Power Gloss? Sound like the same product, and the dust is finer than 3M also. But I do rewash after using it.

BUT...I have a BMW dealer that checks my work before he puts the car on display for sale. He also taught me that going back to re-do is very time consuming and frustrating. So he's my Quality Control point.
At the Ferrari service shop, the shop manager checks my work as well. He adds a second set of "eyes" for checking. The Viper I just did had a few areas of concern that I had to go back and take care of.
I really appreciate those extra inspections because they help me remember what to do on the next car.
