2006 Porsche Carrera 4S Convertible

This is a detail of a 2006 Porsche Carrera 4S convertible that I had the opportunity to detail yesterday. As most of you know the weather here in the Northeast is not conducive to detailing but when this client asked that I work on this car how could I resist. It truly is a work of art with at the 3.8 liter engine putting out 355 HP.

I had alot to deal with besides the cold. The client was having a ton of landscaping and they were tearing up the ground with compressed air, blowing leaves and stuff all over the place, and planting trees. All and all I was able to work around it. I was really rushing to get the car outside before it got dark. I had to pull the car out before I was completely done just to get these shots. Please excuse some of the areas that may have not been wiped down completely. I was able to spend about an hour after the photos and the depature of the landscapers to finish up the small details.

The client is taking delivery of a new white Audi R8 on Friday so hopefully Saturday I will be giving it some TLC.

Time: 7 hours (no breaks)

Wash with 2 bucket method and Ultima wash soap
Wheels cleaned with P21S PB Spray and Rinse with Powerwasher and White Knight Powerstick
Tires and wells cleaned with P21S Total Wash
Clay with Meguiars white Clay
Convertible top cleaned with Raggtopp, vacuumed and dressed with Sonus Total Eclipse
Polish with UDM and orange Pad with 106FF and Optimum Polish
Spot correction with PC and 4 inch orange pad
LSP=Polycharged Menzerna FMJ
Wheels Dressed with Meguiars ASD
Wheel Wells dressed with Street Appeal Tire Dressing
Interior cleaned with Woolite 6/1
Leather dressed with Four Star Leather
Vinyl dressed with Sonus Total Eclipse
Glass cleaned with NXT Glass Cleaner
All exterior plastic cleaned with Meguiars Plastix
Exhaust pipes polished with 0000 steel wool and Meguiars NXT metal polish
Engine cleaned with P12S Total Wash and dressed with Stoners Trim Shine.

I am not sure what you are talking about! That car looks outstanding. Great job on the exterior, engine, wheels and interior! Very nice job! Thanks for sharing!

Tonya...you can see that the underside of the engine area was not completely wiped down until I got it back inside and went over a few things.
