Thanks a million Kyle... I have been kinda slack the last couple of months and have a couple of outstanding write ups to put together.... with the festive season that side of things took a bit of a back seat but I'll get back into the groove now.

Especially paired with minor imperfections (small high spots that look like dirt in the paint, etc), it can make it tough. We make it clear we're no bodyshop, so we don't go as far as hitting them with a paint gauge. Mainly we just look to educate if it's had work and to what extent.
Thanks for the write up - The car looks fantastic! I really do love to see them taken care of like that, and wish more of our customers cared about their cars. I'd say it's maybe a car or two a month where it seems like the owner actually cares...
Thank you. To be honest I know the front and rear bumpers had been repainted but can't recall if that panel had been repainted - my gut instinct says it hadn't but my memory may just be failing me... I'll try dig out my noted on the PTG readings to check... I do recall almost all the OEM paint was around 100µ to 110µ - so not really conducive to flatting out orange peel IMO. This client generally takes care of his cars (I've detailed his X3 and a older 540i too)

Thank you - I try to include as much detail as I can in the hopes that it will help someone, somewhere, somehow.... after all the help freely given by all on this forum its the least I can do to 'pay it back'.

I also like your red masking tape on Space Grey! when i ordered my 335 some years ago I was this close to ordering the Space Grey exterior with the Coral Red leather interior. Loved that contrast and look.
