Well the products I used were:
Washing two bucket method with Megs Gold Class, Megs Body Brush and drying with MF.
Wheels and tires cleaned with Zep degreaser (on tires), Megs Gold Class (on wheels), Megs Tire Brush and Wheel Face Brush.
Claying with Megs quick clay.
Swirl removal: well I never thought it was going to be that difficult to remove the heavy swirls on my car. I started the process with XMT3 with orange LC pad, but I needed something stronger so I used Menz IP with Megs burgundy pad; on some spots I used LC 4" spot orange pads with my 1200 rpm variable speed drill again with Menz IP.
Polishing: I used Megs tan pad with Menz Final Polish to remove some marring and to add gloss.
Front and tail lights: I used XMT #1 with Powerball and PB mini.
Windows cleaned with NXT window cleaner and sealed with rainX.
Color X on wheels (as they are black) and Megs Endurance on tires and trim.
Waxed with Megs NXT two coats. I definitely need a decent sealant like klasse but have not bought one yet. (I didn't use XMT glaze as I don't know if I can top it with NXT synthetic wax)
Interior: vacuum, Megs QID and some plastX on the stereo.
I guess thats all. | Wait a minute... you're using a drill to polish?? |
