Detailed: 50th Anny Corvette (Here ya go Killr!)

This is the 4th and final vehicle for this customer. Was fun to get to detail such nice rides for a change. I

I mixed things up a little on this one. I was trying to make a point that you don't have to spend 100's of dollars on product to get a nice job. It's in the technique and time.

Meguiar's NXT Wash

Meguiar's Cleaner Wax

(Yeah, it's the one you get at a retail chain for 5.99....one of the best deals out there if you ask me. I applied it with an EDGE 2K Orange Polishing pad at #5. I worked it till it was clear and wiped clean. Did not let it dry.)

Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax-Liquid
(2 coats as usual. Let dry 30 minutes per coat)

By using the Cleaner Wax as a swirl remover and polish, I saved a step and got really nice results. Go ahead and laugh, but I just got a check for 700.00 + 50.00 cash (tip) for 4 vehicles.

cleaner wax as a polish shows actually. on the last 2 outdoors pics i can see reflections of swirls, or thats what it looks like to me? it does look clean but i dunno, i think because of the lack of sun it doesnt have the outrageous looking shine.... 700 is pretty good money..just exterior work or interior too?

the 50th anniversary car is probably the most beautiful color to grace the Vette, and especially as anniversary. Pics dont due the color and depth justice. It has a pearl coat clearcoat over the metallic red. While I never liked the off-gold wheels specifically (they could have just left the magnesium wheel offering, same color, lighter and better looking) it was/is a beautiful car. The C5 body is also one that ages well, and still looks great with the big rear hips.

Nice work Justin .... one hint use a little tire protectant on the front plastic airdam. They look bad because they sit low and touch on everything.
