1994 Chevrolet Corvette White

So, once again I get a white vehicle. This an existing customer fun car, the other car was the white Trooper that I did two weeks ago. Engine pics added!

Wash with Meguiar's Gold Glass
Leaf blower to dry
Waffle Weave
Simple Green on the tires and rims
Mother's Chrome polish
Pinnacle Poly Clay
Meguiar's Fine Cut Cleaner on orange pad (just the rocker panels)
Meguiar's #83 on a orange pad
Menzerna Final Polish on a white pad
Klasse AIO by hand
Pinnacle Signature Series II

The Vette has a nice milky glow to it now. Man that thing was covered with bugs. Your customer must really like white cars.

Thank you all!

The they have a boat as well that they need done. It's a 22' Carolina Skiff that is trailored, so it has no bottom paint left after this season. Go figure the hull is white.


Does anybody have any suggestion about bug removal? I washed then clayed the front bumper, but is there any wash or spray that will help break that stuff down. I spent an hour claying and using a fine cut on it.

Oh yeah, I forgot the safe scrub sponge.

I'm with Meghan on white cars. They just don't seem all that rewarding to me when it's done.

Nice job on that 'vette. white is not as rewarding as a dark colour; the best one can hope for is a nice glow..you certainly succeeded there!!

I have always said white is a boring color and hard to keep clean. The last two white vehicles I've had to detail were nightmares. The reward is not so great but I was happy with these results.
