Re: What we've been up to in 2016...
Holy cow, I see you've moved on to working collections. Good for you. Did you have a helper? That doesn't look like you in that picture coating the back valance on that Challenger.

Zach - I'm going to be doing a Hellcat in July identical to the one you did. The paint condition is about the same also. What pads/polishes/speed/polisher/technique did you find worked best on the Hellcat?

Real supper looking work. I live in decatur il. I think I'm going to try to sneak in your shop sometime. Do you have private protection and dogs? Or is it possible for a car nut to come into your shop. I can probably get a reference from Tom stark owner of precision designs to let you know I won't miss any thing up. I respect your work and only wish to improve my knowledge and skills. And to make new friends that love cars like I do.

It is typically just a case of not knowing any better.... surely there was a time when you washed everything with just one bucket and an old beach towel? I know I used to, and I always thought my car looked great afterwards. We educate everyone on proper washing & maintenance practices, but some people still will not follow them unfortunately.

How in the hell does a 2016 Porsche get like that so quickly, is the paint THAT soft, my God
Automatic Car Washes... easy as that. The vehicle took a few trips through the full service auto wash that used spinning brushes and the had nice employees waiting at the end to rub it down with towels. That is all it takes to do that much damage to a 2016.

Yep, I've had a helper for the past few years now... and I am in the process of bringing on another person.

Hey - always love meeting local detailing enthusiasts. We're a part time operation, so get a hold of me sometime and perhaps we can find a mutually agreeable time to get together.
