Detailed:2001 Civic SI

This is one of my best friend's rides. Been storage for about a year. Wasn't that bad since he takes care of his cars.

Meguiar's NXT Tech Car Wash
(Clayed while washing)

Meguiar's #9 Swirl Remover 2.0
(EDGE 2K Green Pad at #5)
More cut with this than what you would think. One of the only Meg's products that I've had luck in the sun with. Not dusting either.

Meguiar's XMT Tech Wax-2 coats
(EDGE 2K White Pad at #3)
Simply one of my favorite pads to use. Wax stays right on the outter edge of the pad. A littel of NXT goes a long way once the pad is primed. NXT really made the Electron Blue pop.

Meg's Shampoo Plus, #9, NXT Tech Wax (2 coats with 30 min. drying intervals).
I love #9. You just have to use the right amount and takes some time to break down. Then it becomes a nice polish. Gonna go back and top with #26 Yellow Wax this week.

That tech wax NXT is really i think underated ....i've used it and loved it, but i notice on other forums that its not that popular......i have the spray tech also......

I'm finding out that NXT is more of a sealant than just a wax. That's why I'm topping it with #26 now. The NXT Spray Wax is a booster. You can't just use it by itself.

2 coats of NXT is very important. Also looks twice as good the next day after it cures out.

I thought NXT had some cleaners in it? How can you do two layers if there are cleaners?

When you talk “wax,” you’re actually talking protection. Tech Wax, a synthetic, scientifically engineered paint sealant, is an alternative to traditional wax. The benefits of a paint sealant are many. Fool-proof, fast, easy application, longer lasting, equivalent protection! If you prefer the appearance of a wax (said to be a glossier, wetter, richer appeal) but like the durability of a sealant, you can layer a wax over a paint sealant. Pinnacle Souveran or Signature Series II will give you most outstanding results over Tech Wax. Meguiar’s does not recommend layering Tech Wax over another sealant or wax. It has slight cleaning properties, negating the effect of the sealant rather than adding extra protection or improving the visual effect.

2 COATS FOR COVERAGE........ ........
