    Re: Drying towel question.

I have mine in gallon zip locks but you can't get too many into one of those. Anybody know where a good source is to get larger bags?
  2. Re: How to restore the plastic around my truck?

Megs Ultimate Black. I know that it says black in the name. But according to the bottle it works on all color plastic.
  3. Re: How to restore the plastic around my truck?

The Meguiars is reported to work on all color plastics. I have only tried it on the Skybox so far, but according to the documentation.
  4. Re: How to restore the plastic around my truck?

Yes, I do mean Ultimate Black. The safe thing is I actually looked it up before posting to make sure I got the name right.
  5. Re: How to restore the plastic around my truck?

Have you tried Meguiar Back to Black? It is available over the counter and seems to work well. I just used it about a month ago on my Yakima Skybox roof top carrier. It looked much better but it...

    Re: Drying with waffle weave

I picked up some WASHDRI we drying towels and really like them. I have not noticed any marks left by them, but I am not as particular as some.

    Re: Steam machines

After watching some YouTube videos on how well steam works on leather I just had to try it. My mother in law has a little steam cleaner she used inside so I asked it I could borrow it. Set it up...

    Re: Carpet cleaning

It does dry pretty well. It is not moisture heavy. I let it sit agitate and then blot with a clean microfiber towel. I usually follow that up with a final vacuum before considering it done.

Re: Looking for reliable spray bottles

I have the Chemical Guys 16 oz bottles with the gray sprayer and really like them. These were my first spray bottle purchase so I can't compair them to any of the other options listed. I will say...

    Re: Finding the Shine...Again

Looking good for sure. Its hard to tell from the picture but it looksnlike a fairly sizeable boat.
  15. Re: What pad to use (light oxidation with pics)

Looks good. I have to do my Bayliner 2855 and I am dreading it. I just hope it goes better than expected. What size pads did you use? I have 5.5" pad that I got for working on cars but I am...
  16. Re: I was invited to go to a car show (as a detailer) and need some opinions and your suggestions!

At the very least I would suggest doing a larger section of the hood. I also like the suggestion of bringing water to show the effectiveness of coatings and how they bead the water and make it...

Re: trading my car in... how far should I go?

If you aren't trading it in for a few weeks it doesn't hurt to take a few pictures and toss it up on Craigslist just to see if you get any interest. With the mechanical check you have done and the...

    Re: Wheel cleaning issue

Make sure you get some small brushes that can get into those crevasses and works the product. All the product in the world will only help so much without proper agitation.

Re: Good LSP for metallic paint?

This is what I am interested in trying. I used 845 for the first time last weekend and was very pleased with the results. But looking at other vehicles I know more shine is available. I am going...
