The Official Uber M3 Supercharger Install Pic Thread... - Carolina Euros
One thing about these nanopolishes is that they seem to dust a ton. The 106ff was dusting in those conditions quite a bit. The S1X3 definitely seemed to dust a bit less.
In his article for Auto Laundry news nearly 10 years ago, Kevin Farrell does hint that using adequate amounts of polishing compounds "will act as a lubricant and slow the swirling process down". This...
Yeah, I'm definitely still at the point where I am always going to follow up a wool pad with a finishing pad, no matter how light a cut the wool pad has. But I am interested in minimizing the amount...
Quite honestly, I'm starting to wonder if wool mars at all. I'm wondering if wool causes conventional diminishing abrasives to mar. Because I started to notice reduced marring with other nanopolishes...
Guys - I honestly think that we need to keep in mind that "non-diminishing" doesn't necessarily mean zero reduction in particle size. It simply infers that the particle size is designed to remain...
The nano abrasives are still the vehicle for paint correction. It is the way that they are applied and controlled that changes the way the abrasive cuts. I'm sure you're familiar with the many...
Run a search if you want to find a few dozen threads arguing about the durability of DG vs Zaino. My point is that Zaino relies heavily on marketing and hype and that doesn't seem to bother you.
No, the PC uses sealed bearings. No need for lubricant. The PC barely gets warm, as long as there is no binding. The spacer solved the problem in the original post.
I love the rotary as much as anyone, but we just got done saying that this common, yet simply problem with the PC is left unsolved because of irrelevant advice.
Man, I beat my head against a wall forEVER on this one. Such a simple thing, too. Problem is - not all backplates need the washer. So someone will get on here and say "You don't need that spacer,...
Yeah, we waited over a year and a half before getting our second. But we went the other way around. We landed a lazy boy and followed up with a high strung girl! They play so well with each other,...
Listen to the man. You buy a matress once every, what? 10 years? Unless you like sleeping in a pit, stay away from memory foam. If you're constantly seeking for the cool spot in bed, take a look at...

That's probably why you don't have the spacer. It is for use with the PC backing pad. Seems like few others have this binding issue, so I'm willing to bet most aftermarket backing pads have enough...
It's pretty small and easy to miss. Does your backing pad clear the counter weight without it? Are you able to spin it by hand and have it spin freely for a few seconds?
