I was at Meguiars for a class on their MF system. I asked about this and they said the LC backing plate should work just fine.
Nice review. Any insight in terms of durability versus other sealants you've tried?
CGs and Meg supreme shine has the best combo of price and quality IMO.
Guzzlers and other AG mf if they're on sale.
With these brushed, can you use extra pressure if needed like with a regular mitt or pad?
Does the cut of yellow LC pads fall much behind the surbuff and MF cutting pads?
Just got some too. I think it was $8 and change though
That mud video was interesting. I might give this stuff try sometime.
Good looking car, but it would be hard for me to buy one over a mustang or gasp...even a 370z.
Good products...really just depends how much you want to spend. I agree that the pinnacle shampoo is a little pricey.
Do you have some type of polisher? If not, I'd start with a polisher, maybe...
UC and SIP should cover most of your bases.
The OEM bmw brake pads do dust a lot, but soap and water will clean them up just fine, other than on perhaps heavily baked on dust.
While a sealant or wax may help, I don't think the effort is...
I agree with the power finish, but if you're going to follow it up with WG FG or 106fa anyhow, might as well have something with a little more cut like SIP or WG TSR to begin with.
What pad did you use with UC. Did you consider following up with m205?
I feel mitts last a long while if you're careful and avoid very dirty underpanels with them.
For grout sponges, I find you have to be quite gentle in handling them so they don't fall apart.
Hard to beat a gallon of Meguiars Gold Class at costco for about $8.
Just to clarify, you used Meg's MF Finishing Wax with a mf finishing pad?
Would not have thought about that combo for a one-step.
I was using poorboys spray and wipe and as a lube and the clay would get quite dirty. After running out of the S&W though, I switched to a car wash soap and water mix and notice the clay would not...
Miss my Z too. I've had a couple in recent years and they really are fun to drive. Something that's taken for granted a bit until it's gone.
Wasn't familiar with this wax, but for $30....think I might try it sometime.
How often would you add hydroseal to the mf?
I think I would overuse this product, not knowing if I'm applying product or just spreading around water.
And wouldn't a MF applicator pad make it a...
Using it as a drying aid at the moment. Works fine and the price is right. When I bought it, was cheaper than the quick detailers....forget which store though.
Other than washing the car again, any other ways to deal with dust.
I quick detail at times, but still some dust remains, and worried that it may cause swirling. I usually only polish and wax a...
That should work fine on top of the klasse.
Rinsing after every panel or so while keeping the car wet and beaded up helps.
You can find duragloss otc too, but if not, some meg products should be fine.
