  1. Re: Giveaway! Flex Changeable Backing Plate System

I love my Flex and how quick it cuts with the forced rotations. Also love the significantly reduced vibration compared to a PC. Love this machine and the ability to change pads would push this over...
  2. Re: This better be the carnuba that has been taken from mars.

Everyone just chill...it's on sale. You save $150! Emergency over...
  3. Re: You too can burn paint with your 3401, follow these easy steps!

Apparently I need to take more pics of this too LOL. Here's an after shot of the hood and the fender.

  4. Re: You too can burn paint with your 3401, follow these easy steps!

No problem. Mine is a 97 F250 Heavy Duty (square body style) that has a beautiful cab, but the bed has the typical New England camouflage over the wheel wells. Unfortunately, nothing too unique,...
  5. Re: You too can burn paint with your 3401, follow these easy steps!

Thanks Mike, I should have been more diligent about documenting the process and all I have is the one lame cell phone pic LOL :) We worked on the truck for several months so it was: go over, work...
  6. Re: You too can burn paint with your 3401, follow these easy steps!

Actually I did it all with the 3401. I used the foamed wool pad with Poorboy's SSR3 for the initial cut, Optimum polish after that and wrapped up with Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish (which was...
  7. Re: You too can burn paint with your 3401, follow these easy steps!

Thanks, we painted and wet sanded the entire truck. Didn't come out bad for a barn paint job. :D First time wet sanding to that extent.
  8. Re: You too can burn paint with your 3401, follow these easy steps!

Bingo, the whole truck was torn apart so while the bed was off I played with the back of the cab. I had many, many hours into that thing.
  9. Re: You too can burn paint with your 3401, follow these easy steps!

It was a great opportunity to try. I was always careful but always wondered what "threshold of adventure" was as far as how much was too much pressure on an edge and so on and so forth. Here's how...

Re: Black spots on my truck - artillary fungus

Ugh, I deal with this a lot and haven't found an easy way yet. I've found the clay to load up with just the top part of the fungus and can scratch the paint leaving the spots behind.

    Any...

Re: Optimum G-P-S is Here + Giveaway!

Super interested in this since Poli-Seal is my go-to AIO, just used it this weekend on a customer car as a matter of fact. I've always been a fan of the Optimum line and actually got started with...

Re: 2006 Volvo XC90 Headlight Restoration

Looks awesome, I just did the same thing with my parent's XC90 two weeks ago. They were a pain to do, took a bit to get the old sealant off. I stop at 2000 though and polish from there..

I'd love a copy! I've detailed for years and it's always constantly evolving so continuous education and reference material is the best way to get ahead and stay relevant!

Re: Have to give PB Leather Stuff a shout out

No the cover had been on for a while, there wasn't a single wear mark or indentation on the leather, it was just...dry. Just pleasantly surprised at the result.

Have to give PB Leather Stuff a shout out

So a few months back I picked up a 97 F250HD that has a leather steering wheel that's had one of those stretch covers over the top of it since new. Not being a fan of steering wheel covers I...

    Re: cigaertette burn on headliner

You say knock off the bad jokes and follow up that the damage was caused by wearing a rhinestone encrusted hat?!?!?!?! Oh sweet irony...

Same here. I've been meaning to ask this myself. :D
