    Re: Best Wheel Cleaner

Wolfgang Über Wheel Cleaner, Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus. Those are the top 2 IMO. If you need something really strong, Iron X or Wheel Acid

Re: A little disgusted with my Mytee 8070

I have the HP60 and have had only a few minor problems. I was able to fix them all myself. If you have the right tools, I would take apart the cover and inspect the machine for yourself. See whats...
  8. Re: $5,500 worth of detailing products... my STARTING overhead

I would invest in a generator...why is that not listed? I would also ditch the mcculoh steamer and get a vx5000.
  9. Re: New Shop is almost done! JC'S Automotive Detailing Of San Antonio Texas

Excellent set up. Very clean and organized. In the future, I would throw down some cool flooring and like you mentioned, better lighting.
  10. Re: To those with a physical location/storefront...

If you want to make a lot of money in this business get a large shop and do production work. You won't be putting out show cars but production shops are not in business to be posting 50/50 shots on...

    Re: Razors on glass?

Clean the window first and then use the blade. Otherwise you will scratch the glass up very badly
  13. Re: Buying a Water Tank, do I need a water pump along with my gas Pressure Waher?

With gas you need a pump. Some electric models have self priming pumps and don't require an external pump. However, most of those models are karchers and if you are spending only a few hundred on it,...
  14. Re: Leather seats, 2 in 1 or separate Cleaner and Conditioner

You don't need to put conditioner on those seats my man. 99% of leather seats are coated and cannot absorb the conditioner. Just clean them once a month with something mild and you are good to go.

Re: Wax is more than Protection, IMO.

I think you have it a bit backwards. Wax provides the LEAST amount of protection compared to MOST good sealants and coatings. IMO wax offers more of a depth than a sealant does but doesnt have the...

  19. Re: 2010 White BMW X6 - Shining on a budget

Re: Nanoskin bonnets and the pros

Clay is safer IMO. That said, I still use the nano skin system because when I have polishing jobs it saves me time and time is money. Usually, when its time to clay its also time to polish. If your...

  23. Re: Rupes Bigfoot or Flex 3401 for enthusiast?

Rupes. The flex is a much harder machine to use. Work great though but only in the right hands. My girlfriend can use my Rupes with no problem. Get the duetto. Its the easiest model to play with
  24. Re: Key scratch repair needed - Chicago Area

If you can feel it with your fingernail, get it repainted and use insurance. You MIGHT be able to find somebody who is good enough to fill the scratch but if you are anal like the rest of us, its...
