    Last I remember megs headlight protectant is not a wipe on wipe off product . You work the product in never letting it dry and then buff with another towel.

    If the overspray is laquer then goof off is safer then laquer thinner.Get the proffessional strength . Home depot carries it.

    I do not know how it would affect already failing CC though.

    You may not have to use polish to get the water spots out.

    Try white vinegar and water first ,and or just buff out with wax on a machine or AIO and see if that works and try to save your paint...

    I use on average10-11 gallons on an average car.This is without an extractor.

    Bring what you think you need and then add a couple gallons to be safe.
