  1. The reason I want to nickname my Chevrolet after a Plymouth

I had nicknamed my black Camaro 'Darth,' because when I first saw the picture on the dealer's website, it reminded me of Darth Vader - an all-black car in a white room. I was washing the new one a...
  2. Re: 1st Ceramic Coating-EVER. NEXZEN 365 Pro - 2 videos

According to Anthony, when I talked to him on the phone, he is still very involved with training detailers to use the NXTZEN products and is STILL a "Detail Junkie," HIS WORDS.

    So I wouldn't be...

Re: The Camaro is dead! Long live the Camaro

Klasse Act is right - not only a supercharger, but an exhaust, aftermarket headlights, tinted taillights. All that's left is to ceramic coat it, and that's underway right now, so ....

Re: The Camaro is dead! Long live the Camaro

I thought the rear window on the 5th Gen was "difficult" to clean (inside), but compared to the 6th - WOW ... trying to get the bottom of the window on the 6th is a real bear!

    BUT ... the 'softer'...

Re: The Camaro is dead! Long live the Camaro

This one is subdued, there is a little 'burble' when I first hit the gas and a small amount of burbling when I coast in gear, but it sounds pretty good overall.

Re: The Camaro is dead! Long live the Camaro

The car has (I believe) the RS package with the 2LT option. Which means it has a top speed of 155 (at least before the supercharger tune). But, most of all, I don't plan on testing the car's limits....

The Camaro is dead! Long live the Camaro

Last month, on the 18th, a distracted (being nice) driver totaled my black 2013 Camaro, and I was found "at fault" for swerving to keep him from t-boning me. I still get MAGOR POed even thinking...

Re: FINALLY - Looking into Ceramic Coatings!

It's the first coating that I've actually SEEN installed by a detailer on YT that I trust ... I'll go ahead and say it, I've spoken with Phil Miranda several times, plus watched MANY of his videos....

Re: FINALLY - Looking into Ceramic Coatings!

I guess MY mind is a little boggled at the moment too LOL.

FINALLY - Looking into Ceramic Coatings!

Phil Miranda (from Miranda Detailing - YouTube) put out a video on GTECHNIQ C1 ceramic coating. His demonstration made the process look so insanely easy, that it convinced me I need to try. Of course...

  16. Re: Don't laugh .. it was a Christmas present, and I'm pretty sure it could be useful

It's not something I would buy for myself, and after years of the PC and 5.5" pads, it DOES seem really HUGE. But as it was a gift from a nephew (who knows nothing about detailing), I owe it to him...
  17. Don't laugh .. it was a Christmas present, and I'm pretty sure it could be useful

So, for Christmas, my well-meaning nephew bought me an RO polisher ... It is one of those so-called "wax spreader" polishers available at Walmart. With a 10" pad from *AutoSpa. It comes with 1 foam...

  23. "Clogging" pores in paint = triggering oxidation!?
