Pretty obvious something is wrong. Send it back for warranty.

Loss of power is often a brush issue.

They should've sent you an extra set of brushes when you bought it

That's what I was thinking. Change the brushes and if it improves, you won' be without your buffer for very long. If not, send it in for service.

Re: gg6 bogging down?

How old is it? If it starts out with plenty of power then slows as you use it, it's most likely a brush issue. This would not be covered under warranty because brushes are a wear item. If you find the extra set they sent you and it works, don't forget to call and get more, otherwise you will be down next time.

Make sure your backing plate always has a Sharpie type of mark. Makes it easy to notice when BP does not move.
